We've given you a few X-Files 2 spoilers already.
Now, here's a look at David Duchovny and Amanda Peet on the set of the sequel, which comes out on July 25:

The X-Files sequel has added a trio of stars to its cast.
Rapper Xzibit, Amanda Peet and Billy Connolly have signed on for director Chris Carter's big-screen adaptation of the hit series for Fox.
Sources said Xzibit and Peet will play fellow FBI agents to David Duchovny's Mulder and Gillian Anderson's Scully in X-Files 2, which is a stand-alone story, not a sequel or continuation of the hit 1998 feature adaptation.
Citing a policy of secrecy surrounding the plot line, Fox would not confirm any details regarding the three actors' roles.
Carter and Frank Spotnitz wrote the screenplay, and production is expected to begin this month in Vancouver. The film is set to hit theaters in July.
With Mulder and Scully on the run, X-Files 2 is rumored to star many new characters. Here's a rundown of other plot details we've learned about this upcoming sequel:
Set in a non-descript town, the film opens with an investigation into an alleged Frankenstein-type named Dr. Donarra. According to a former patient, the man's crazy: he keeps fetuses in a jar, while toying with the organs of extra terrestrials.

Later on, mysterious doctor requests a private conversation with his secretary, Vanessa. There's something strange about this chick, however; she refers to herself in the third person , as if she's merely taken over Vanessa's body and is supposed to be taking her "medicine" to cloak whatever Donarra's wants cloaked.
That's all we know for now. But Mulder and Scully first appear after about 30 minutes.
After years of contract disputes with Fox, why is X-Files 2 finally coming to theaters in July, 2008?
Ironically enough, X-Files Creator Chris Carter said the impending writers' strike played a role in getting Mulder and Scully back on the big screen.
"If we don't do it now and the strike was protracted, it would force the movie to come out several years from now," Carter said. "And that was too late. It was either now or never."
That works for us. Look for X-Files 2 (an exact title is yet to be released) on July 25, 2008.
X-Files leading man David Duchovny recently hooked up with Gillian Anderson and their former series' creator, Chris Carter, to discuss a sequel to their movie - and former hit TV show, of course.
"It was more emotional than I would have thought it was [going to be]," the actor said of the meeting. "If you spend that much time with people and go through that much, there's a lot of residual feeling."
X-Files 2 is tentatively scheduled to shoot in December, with Carter directing from a script that he penned with series scribe Frank Spotnitz.
"I want us to go out and do what the show always did best, which is really smart, scary, ultimately ambiguous stuff," Duchovny said. "There's been a lot of shows and movies that kind of tread the same area, or tried to, and I think we always did it best. And I hope we can go out and do it best again."
