Toy Story 3 Spoilers: Hamm the Piggy Bank to the Rescue!

Hot on the heels of nicely summarized Iron Man 2 spoilers, here's a look inside Toy Story 3.

John Ratzenberger, who plays Hamm the Piggy Bank, recently told MTV that his character would have dual roles in the Pixar follow-up:

"Hammy is a villain in the beginning of the movie. [But then], Hammy becomes a superhero. You'll see."

We certainly will see, as 2010 can't come fast enough for fans of the first two great movies.

In Toy Story 3, Woody, Buzz, and the rest of the toy gang are left at a day care center when Andy goes away to college. (Are we the only ones feeling incredibly old at the thought of Andy in college?!?)

Whatever adventures are in store, viewers can reportedly look forward to a whole lot more of Mrs. Potato Head.

"[It's] wonderful!" gushed Estelle Harris, who voiced the wedlocked vegetable. "I have a much bigger part. Toy Story 2 was my entrance, and I was a newlywed. But now, I'm still very much in love with Mr. Potato Head."

It's nice to see some marriages in Hollywood last.

Toy Story 3 Spoilers: Plot Details Reveals

toy_story_31.jpg A recent article in The Wall Street Journal actually has a preview of Toy Story 3 in it...

In Pixar's coming movie Toy Story 3, Woody the cowboy and his toy-box friends are dumped in a day-care center after their owner, Andy, leaves for college.

Behind the scenes, Pixar's longtime videogame partner THQ Inc., which made the games based on the Walt Disney Co. studio's Ratatouille and Cars movies, has been having abandonment issues of its own.

Disney and its Pixar animation studio recently turned down a pitch from the Agoura Hills, Calif.-based publisher to create the game version of "Toy Story 3," opting instead to make it in-house.

With renewed zeal, traditional media companies have begun building their own videogame businesses again.

Toy Story 3

Pixar creative chief John Lasseter is personally overseeing the conversion process. Regarding it, he said:

"The Toy Story films and characters will always hold a very special place in our hearts and we're so excited to be bringing this landmark film back for audiences to enjoy in a whole new way thanks to the latest in 3-D technology.

I am sure that this is going to be nothing short of fantastic and people are going to be blown away by the experience. With Toy Story 3 shaping up to be another great adventure for Buzz, Woody and the gang from Andy's room, we thought it would be great to let audiences experience the first two films all over again and in a brand new way.

3-D offers lots of great new possibilities for the art of animation and we will continue to use this new technology to tell our stories in the best possible way."
