Originally titled They Came From Upstairs, Aliens in the Attic stars Ashley Tisdale and Weeds actor Kevin Nealon.
As the name suggests, the film centers on a group of kids that must defend their home from, well, aliens in the attic.
It opens on July 31 and you can watch the official trailer below:

Ashley Tisdale is about to embark on life outside High School Musical.
The third installment of that franchise opens today, but fans can actually get an early look at Tisdale's next project: They Came From Upstairs.

Ashley Tisdale may be said to be leaving the High School Musical franchise, but she's also excited to be moving forward.
Her next role is the film, They Came From Upstairs.
"It's an action comedy, and I get to have my first action scene," the actress told MTV News. "It was a lot of fun, and I want to do more action scenes. It was very exciting.... I got to beat the crap out of an alien. I look kind of crazy looking at the [footage] without the CGI there. We have some great comedians, and Kevin Nealon, who always cracked us up on set."
Kevin Nealon - the Saturday Night Live alum and star of Showtime's Weeds - is joining the cast of Fox's forthcoming adventure comedy They Came From Upstairs. It's headlines, of course, by Ashley Tisdale of High School Musical fame.
Nealon will portray the father of Tisdale's character in the film, which centers on a group of teens who join forces to defend their Maine vacation home from aliens that have invaded via the upstairs (naturall).
Actress Gillian Vigman, of MADtv and ABC's Sons & Daughters, will play the mom.
The High School Musical actors are expanding their resumes.
First, Zac Efron signed on to star in Seventeen.
Now, Ashley Tisdale has signed on to make her feature film debut in the adventure comedy They Came From Upstairs.
Robert Hoffman, Carter Jenkins, Austin Butler and Ashley Boettcher have also been cast.
The movie focuses on a group of teens who team up to defend their Maine vacation home from aliens who have invaded via the upstairs. Naturally.
Tisdale will shoot They Came From Upstairs before moving on to the High School Musical 3, which is being developed as a theatrical feature for the first time.
