Michelle Rodriguez Speaks on Avatar, The Fast and the Furious 4

Michelle Rodriguez may have been killed off Lost, but the actress is very much alive on the big screen.

She recently spoke to ComingSoon.net about a pair of big projects she has on the horizon. Here are a few excerpts from the interview:

ComingSoon.net: How is Avatar going?
Michelle Rodriguez: We finished shooting and now they're going to go into post for about a year.

CS: Our audience is really excited about it, so anything you can tell me would be great.
Rodriguez: I've seen raw stuff that hasn't even been touched up. It's not even in its second phase of all of the computer post-production that they've got to do, and it looks phenomenal.

CS: Where is the story going to pick up from?

The Fast and the Furious 4 Spoilers, Pictures

In actuality, this is a post replete with The Fast and the Furious 4 spoilers, pictures... and questions. Namely, why the heck are they making The Fast and the Furious 4?

If we ever receive an answer to that question, we'll let you know. For now, here's a plot synopsis:

Brian (Paul Walker) is freed from prison (the authorities found out that he let Dominic played by Vin Diesel go at the end of the first film) to help the feds stop a heroin importer known as Braga.

Jordana Brewster to Star in The Fast and the Furious 4

Jordana BrewsterJordana Brewster is in talks to reprise her role as Mia in The Fast and the Furious 4.

What, did you think three versions of this film were enough?!?

The character of Mia would be the third cast member from Rob Cohen's original to join the cast of the Justin Lin-directed sequel.

According sources, when the film begins, Brian (Paul Walker) has been doing time - after authorities discovered the truth about Brian's role in Dominic's disappearance.

But Brian makes a deal with those in charge. He'll help stop a crime boss known as Braga, whose importing heroin, if they agree to free him.

With the assistance of an informant named James Park, Brian wins a spot on a street race that involves Braga's number-one man, Jorge Campos.

He makes friends with Campos (and, therefore, Braga); wins a spot on his team (importing heroin) and gets Dominic a gig, as well. Got all that?

The Fast and the Furious 4 hits theatres on June 5, 2009.
