After the studio told Tim Burton they wanted the third installment of the Batman movies to be more family friendly less dark than his first two, he left the director's chair and took over as producer.  Michael Keaton no longer wanted to be Batman due to creative differences.

Instead, we got Joel Schumacher as the director and Val Kilmer as Batman.  This may have marked when the series was starting to go downhill, but Batman Forever was still an enjoyable flick with great performances by Tommy Lee Jones and Jim Carrey.

Today we added the 2006 comedy Accepted to Reel Movie News.

Accepted starred Justin Long, Jonah Hill (pre-Superbad fame), and the comedian Lewis Black.

Accepted is the story of a high school graduate, Bartelby (Justin Long), who gets rejected from every college he applies to.  When he's unwilling to tell his parents he didn't get in anywhere, he creates his own school.

We got The Fifth Element on our brain. Maybe it was the news that Milla Jovovich was cast in a new movie.

Well no matter what it is, we added this 1997 sci-fi action flick to Reel. The Fifth Element stars Bruce Willis as the hero and Gary Oldman as the bad guy.

After bringing you Tim Burton's Batman and Batman Returns, we decided to bring you the original movie that paired Michael Keaton and Tim Burton together... Beetlejuice!

Beetlejuice was a comedy about a recently deceased couple that's trying to haunt their old home to scare off its new yuppie owners.

As part of our anticipation for the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight, we added up the sequel to the 1989 Batman, titled Batman Returns.

In this 1992 movie, Michael Keaton reprises his role as Batman and Tim Burton is back as director for their final Batman together.
