Ben Kingsley Speaks on Shutter Island

Ben Kingsley is set to appear as Dr. Squires in The Wackness, a dark comedy that comes out nationwide in August.

Following that part, the Academy Award winner will take on the role of a psychiatrist again in Martin Scorsese’s Shutter Island.

“I play another psychiatrist, but very different from Dr. Squires. Very sober, very against the use of drugs in therapy, and also very against the use of surgical intervention in therapy,” said Kingsley.

As for his costar in Shutter Island, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kingsley simply said: “He and I have some very, very strong scenes together.”
