The upcoming crime drama, Righteous Kill, starring Rebert De Niro, Al Pacino, and 50 Cent is due out in theaters on September 12 and Comingsoon.net just got access to two new exclusive pictures.

Righteous Kill stars Al Pacino and Robert De Niro. So you'd assume these two icons would be the basis for that film's publicity push, right?
Right?!?
Well, tell that to Vibe magazine. De Niro is on its latest cover... alongside co-star 50 Cent. Can't say that makes us too excited for this flick anymore.
Righteous Kill opens April 18.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Carla Gugino has been cast as the female lead in Righteous Kill, the movie every Al Pacino and Robert De Niro fan absolutely cannot wait for.
The article says Guino will play "a crime-scene investigator with a dark personal life who enters into a relationship with De Niro's character."
Righteous Kill is written by Russell Gewirtz, and you can take a look at an early teaser poster here. The cast already includes De Niro, Pacino and 50 Cent, pictured in a scene together below. The film is scheduled for a 2008 release.
Marking their second time on screen together, following Heat, Righteous Kill stars Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro.
The two longtime actors portray a pair of veteran New York City detectives who hunt a vigilante that may be one of their own.
Donnie Wahlberg, Brian Dennehy, Carla Gugino, 50 Cent and John Leguizamo also star in the movie.
Robert De Niro and Al Pacino are teaming to play New York police investigators hunting a serial killer in Jon Avnet's $60 million thriller Righteous Kill for Avi Lerner's Millennium Films and Emmett/Furla Films.
The independently financed feature written by Russell Gewirtz (Inside Man, the upcoming Labyrinth) unites the longtime friends on screen for some 90% of the film -- unlike their one shared scene in Michael Mann's Heat and no shared scenes in Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather Part II.
"You see those two icons onscreen together for virtually the whole film," Lerner said at his Festival de Cannes offices.
"(Something) never seen before in the history of cinema. It's one of the hardest deals we've ever done to put these two actors together."
Lerner and Randall Emmett closed negotiations on the CAA-packaged project late Thursday morning during the festival.
Emmett said the actors had long been seeking a project on which to work together and that he acted as a catalyst to get the duo together. Lerner talked to producer Art Linson and De Niro, now filming the Warner Bros. Hollywood comedy What Just Happened? to help move the new project along.
Righteous Kill begins a two-month shoot in Connecticut and New York on Aug. 6, taking advantage of each state's tax incentive programs.
