Set in 1967, the movie centers on Larry Gopnik (Stuhlbarg), a Midwestern professor whose life begins to unravel when his wife leaves him and his socially inept brother (Kind) won't move out of the house.

Shooting will begin next month in Minneapolis. On September 12, meanwhile, Brad Pitt and George Clooney lead an all-star cast in the Coen's next movie, Burn After Reading.

Univeral Buys Rights to 2 Guns

Univeral Studios has bought the rights to 2 Guns, a graphic novel from Boom! Studios according to The Hollywood Reporter.

2 Guns the comic is written by Steven Grant with artwork by Mat Santoloco.  The story is about a DEA agent and an unvercover Naval Intelligence officer who are unwittingly investigating each other and try to steal money from the mob for the good guys.  Unfortunately, they are tricked by the mob into stealing $50 million from the CIA.  Sounds clever.

Marc Platt, the producer behind the hit Wanted, will produce alongside Boom! co-founders Andrew Cosby and Ross Richie.
