The Crow: Set to Fly Again

It's been years since the original Crow took flight, but Variety reports that Stephen Norrington will write and direct a new version of The Crow, based on the comic created by James O'Barr.

In, 1994 Alex Proyas directed the original movie, in which rock musician Eric Draven is murdered trying to rescue his girlfriend from thugs. He returns from the dead one year later to exact vengeance.

"Whereas Proyas' original was gloriously gothic and stylized, the new movie will be realistic, hard-edged and mysterious, almost documentary-style," Norrington said.

No production date has been set.

South Park Movie Sequel Considered

South Park creators trey Parker and co-creator Matt Stone are signed on to continue producing episodes of the series until 2011.

After that, however, movie goers may be treated to a big screen send off Stan, Kyle, Kenny, Cartman and the rest of the foul-mouthed Colorado fourth graders.

"We talked about maybe some day doing a movie to sort of end it all, and that seems like the best idea," Parker told the Los Angeles Times. "That's been a big thought to do the last show as a movie."

Another South Park movie would likely rake in millions.

Broken Lizard Teams Up with Adam Duritz

What happened to Super Troopers 2?

Hopefully, this sequel is still in the works, but we have different news surrounding the comedy troupe Broken Lizard:

They are reportedly teaming up with Counting Crows lead singer Adam Duritz on the comedy Freeloaders. Should be an interesting partnership.

Broken Lizard

According to Variety, the movie will focus on a quintet guys and a girl that live in the lap of luxury in a rock star's mansion. However, their ideal situation is threatened when the rock star decides to sell the house. Could be a tough market in which to attempt that.

Broken Lizard, of course, is composed of Colgate University graduates Erik Stolhanske, Paul Soter, Steve Lemme, Kevin Heffernan and Jay Chandrasekhar.
