Based in Boston and starring an Emmy winner, Ben Affleck has found his directorial project.

The Gone Baby Gone director will helm, and star in, The Town. The film will feature Affleck, as a bank robber, along with Jon Hamm. The Mad Men star will portray an FBI agent.

Rebecca Hall (Vicky Cristina Barcelona) is also on board. She'll take on the role of a bank teller that both Hamm and Affleck's characters fall for.

The Town focuses on a professional thief that develops feelings for the female teller at the bank he attempts to heist, and the FBI agent who is obsessed with nabbing him and his crew.

Ben Affleck has agreed rewrite, direct and star in The Town, a Warner Bros. adaptation of the Chuck Hogan novel The Prince of Thieves.

According to Variety, Affleck will portray a career thief who becomes smitten by the manager of a bank.

Ben Affleck is in talks to star in Mike Judge's upcoming comedy, Extract.

The actor would portray an ambulance-chasing lawyer in the film, which centers on a flower extract factory owner (Arrested Development's Jason Bateman) who's dealing with workplace problems and a streak of bad luck, including his wife's affair with a gigolo.

Judge - the man behind Beavis and Butthead - wrote the screenplay.

Thanks to the disasters known as Pearl Harbor and Gigi, it's safe to say that Ben Affleck is no longer an A-list actor.

But Mr. Jennifer Garner, who turns 36 today, looks to have a bright future ahead as a director. We loved his work behind the camera on Gone Baby Gone.
