Michelle Rodriguez may have been killed off Lost, but the actress is very much alive on the big screen.

She recently spoke to ComingSoon.net about a pair of big projects she has on the horizon. Here are a few excerpts from the interview:

ComingSoon.net: How is Avatar going?
Michelle Rodriguez: We finished shooting and now they're going to go into post for about a year.

CS: Our audience is really excited about it, so anything you can tell me would be great.
Rodriguez: I've seen raw stuff that hasn't even been touched up. It's not even in its second phase of all of the computer post-production that they've got to do, and it looks phenomenal.

CS: When do you start shooting The Fast and the Furious 4?
Rodriguez: I don't know yet. Sometime near the end of the month we'll get on that.

CS: Where is the story going to pick up from?
Rodriguez: I'm not sure how much I'm allowed to talk about it so I'm just going to shut up about it.

What's It All About: Hayden Christensen (pictured here with Terrence Howard) plays a victim of anesthetic awareness, a phenomenon in which a patient remains conscious but paralyzed under anesthesia. While in this state, he hears his surgeons plotting to murder him and pretend his death was the result of complications. Jessica Alba stars as Christensen's wife.
Why It Might Do Well: Being this week's only new wide release can only bode well.
Why It Might Not Do Well: Enchanted still has legs enough to pull off a second week in the topspot, so look for Awake to place second.

What is the upcoming movie, Awake, starring Jessica Alba about? Let's ask the gorgeous actress herself...

It's about anesthetic awareness which is what happens when you go under for surgery, get put under for anesthesia and they don't give you enough for your body weight. Basically you're body is asleep, like it should be, but your mind is awake. So you hear and you can feel the entire surgery.

The whole time you can't say anything. You can't talk. You can't move. You can't cry. You can't do anything. You just have to suffer through it until it wears off.

It happens to people... So Hayden Christensen's character goes through this whole thing. My character, we're engaged for six months. We've been together for a year and when he gets a call that he got a heart, it's available and he can have this heart transplant, he's like, I'm going to do something for myself.

We're going to get married because our relationship he's been keeping a secret from his mother. So then the mother, in the waiting room with me, finds out that we got married and I'm her assistant.

And he's like a billionaire. So she doesn't trust my character and thinks it's weird She's always been coddling him his whole life and she doesn't want to let go. Then while he's in surgery, he has flashbacks to their relationship and how it started and why it means so much. She's the reason why he lives through this terrifying experience.
