Wanda Sykes

Bio

Wanda Sykes was born in Porsmouth, Virginia and has been a successful standup comic since she began her career since 1987.  In addition to doing standup comedy, Sykes frequently is a writer and actress.  In film, Sykes is best known for her roles in Pootie Tang, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, and Evan Almighty.  On television, Sykes has frequently guest starred on shows and was even given her own short-lived show, Wanda Does It.
