Rip Torn

Bio

Rip Torn is an Academy Award-nominated actor from Temple, Texas that made his acting debut in 1956 in Baby Doll.  Torn has since go on to be one of the most famous and recognizable character actors in Hollywood having been in over 100 movies.  Some notable Torn roles have been in The Cincinatti Kid, Men in Black, Payday, his Academy Award-nominated role in Cross Creek, Canadian Bacon, and Dodgeball.

Rip Torn is also well known for his television appearances including his  role as Artie on The Larry Sanders Show  and recently 30 Rock.
