Ray Stevenson was born in 1964 in Ireland. He's probably best known for his role in the HBO series Rome.

Stevenson's father was a pilot in the air force and he has an older brother and a younger brother. The actor got into the business during in his youth, as he visited the Saturday Morning Picture Show at the Newcastle Odeon and knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life.
