Bio

Queen Latifah was born Dana Elaine Owens in Newark, New Jersey.  She began her career as a singer / rapper, but became an actor after his starring role in Fox's Living Single sitcom.  Since then Queen Latifah has had an impressive career including parts in Chicago, Stranger Than Fiction, and Hairspray.
