Paul Giamatti was born in New Haven, Connecticut and has his first big role in Howard Stern's Private Parts in 1997. Since then Giamatti has had roles in many high profile Hollywood movies including The Truman Show, Man on the Moon, Big Momma's House, Planet of the Apes, Big Fat Liar, and Fred Claus. Giamatti is perhaps best known for his starring role in the independent film, Sideways and his Academy Award-nominated role in Cinderella Man.
