Kurt Russell is an actor from Springfield, Massachusetts that has enjoy success as an actor since the 60s. In 1965, Russel signed a ten-year contract with Walt Disney and produced films such Follow Me, Boys! to The Strongest Man in the World!
In the early 1970s, Russel had a baseball career playing second base for the California Angels Double-A minor league affiliate, El Paso Sun Kings. However, after a shoulder injury, he returned to acting.
During the 80s, Russel teamed up with John Carpenter to make a number of movies, most notably Escape from New York for which Russel is most well known for.
Russel has continued to be in movies, most recently he played Stuntman Mike in Tarantino's Grindhouse: Death Proof.
In his personal life Russel is married to Goldie Hawn.
