Katie Holmes is an actress that's best known for her role as Joey Potter on Dawson's Creek.  Katie Holmes' film career shortly after her Dawson's Creek fame included roles in Disturbing Behavior, Go, and Teaching Mrs. Tingle.  Years later she would play Rachel Dawes in Batman Begins, only to be replaced by Maggie Gyllenhaal in the upcoming The Dark Knight.

Katie Holmes' true rise to fame came to fame in 2005 with her relationship with Tom Cruise, 16 years her senior.  The two had a baby together, Suri Cruise, and were married in 2006.

After giving birth, her first role back on the big screen was in the flop, Mad Money.
