Judi Dench

Bio

Judi Dench was born in Yorkshire, England where she's regarded as one of the greatest actresses of the post-war period, especially for her theater work.  In America, and worldwide, Dench is mostly known for her inonic role as M in the James bond movies since GoldenEye.

Judi Dench has also had a successful Hollywood film career in addition to the James Bond movies and has been nominated for Academy Awards for her rols in Mrs. Brown, Chocolat, Mrs Henderson Presents, and Notes on a Scandal.  Dench won the Academy Award for best supporting actress for her role in Shakespeare in Love.
