Janeane Garofalo is a stand-up comic, actress and writer from Newton, New Jersey.

As a comic, Garofalo began here career in the late 80s.  Her style of humor is mostly observational.

As a television actress, Garofalo was on the short-lived The Ben Stiller Show, The Larry Sanders Show, and briefly as a star on Saturday Night Live.

On the big screen, Garofalo has had big parts in Reality Bites, The Truth About Cats & Dogs, and The Matchmaker.
