Heath Ledger was a talented young actor. He earned an Oscar nomination for his role in Brokeback Mountain and was prepared to truly see his career take off after portraying The Joker in The Dark Knight.
Sadly, Ledger passed away on January 22, 2007. Prescription drugs played some role in the death, which appeared to be accidental. Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with his loved ones.
