Gene Hackman is a two time Academy Award winning American actor. He rose to fame in the 1970's with his performance in The French Connection. He became popular with a whole new generation when he portrayed Lex Luther in the original Superman movies. And still, in his 70's, Gene Hackman continues to star in movies.
