Ethan Hawke was born in Austin, Texas and made him film debut in 1985 in the Explorers. Hawke was since in Dead Poets Society, Reality Bites, Gattaca, The Newton Boys, Great Expecations, and Training Day, for which he was nominated for an Academy Award.
In his personal life, Ethan Hawke was married to Uma Thurman from 1998 to 2004. The two have a daughter and son together.
