Born in West Plains, Missouri, Dick Van Dyke is best known as a television personality from his popular television shows The Dick Van Dyke Shows from 1961-1966 and The New Dick Van Dyke Show from 1971-1974.
Dick Van Dyke has also had a small film career that started with a role in the 1963 Bye Bye Birdie. Other notable roles for Dyke have been in Marry Poppins, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, Dick Tracy, and most recently, a fun role in Night at the Museum.
