Bio
Dan Aykroyd was born in Ottawa, Canada and came to fame on the big screen as a cast member and writer of Saturday Night Live during its first four season from 1975 to 1979. Aykroyd became one of the biggest stars after co-creating and starring in The Blue Brothers in 1980 alongside his partner in crime, John Belushi. After being an A-list comedian actor, Aykroyd went on to star in Trading Places, Ghostbusters, Spies Like Us, Dragnet, The Great Outdoors, Coneheads, and Tommy Boy.
