Cedric the Entertainer

Bio

Cedric the Entertainer was born Cedric Antonio Kyles in Jefferson City, Missouri.  Cedric was a State Farm insurance agent before he began a full-time comedian.

In 1996, Cedric moved into acting playing Steve Harvey's best friend in Harvey's television show, The Steve Harvey Show.  Cedric then began a film career with roles in Barbershop, Serving Sara, Be Cool, and Street Kings.  Cedric was also one of the four comedians in the 2000 stand-up comedy movie, The Original Kings of Comedy in 2000.
