Brandon Routh is an actor and former fashion model from Des Moines, Iowa. Routh's career started off slow with a slew of small television appearances on shows that included Odd Man Out, Undressed, Gilmore Girls, One Life to Live, Cold Case, and Will & Grace.
Brandon Routh's career finally took off thanks to his uncanny resemblance to Chritopher Reeve when he was cast as Superman in Superman Returns. Since Superman, Routh has signed up to be in Tom Clancy's Without Remorse, Life is Hot in Cracktown, and, of course, the new Superman: The Man of Steel.
