Anthony Hopkins

Bio

Anthony Hopkins was born in Margom, Port Talbot, Wales.  Hopkins has enjoyed a successful film career since the 70s and 80s with roles in major movies like A Bridge Too Far and The Elephant Man.

In the 90s, Hopkins' career was the strongest with roles in movies like Desperate Hours, his infamous, Academy Award-winning role in The Silence of the Lambs, Howard's End, Legends of the Fall, Nixon, The Mask of Zorro, Meet Joe Black, and Instinct.

Now, in the 2000s, Hopkins has continue to have an incredibly strong career having reprised his role as Hannibal Lecter twice more in Hannibal and Red Dragon.  Additional, he has starred in Alexander, All The King's Men, and Beowulf.
