Anne Bancroft

Bio

Anne Bancroft started off as a theater actress, winning Tony Awards for performances in Two for the Seasaw and The Miracle Worker.   When she starred in the movie version, she won the Academy Award for best actress.  Anne Bancroft is without a doubt best known for her role as Mrs. Robinson in The Graduate.  Bancroft appear on the big screen until 2001 and passed away in 2005.  She was married to Mel Brooks until her death.
