Andie MacDowell is an actress form Gaffney, South Carolina who got her big break in the 1989 independent film sex, lies, and videotape.  After this Steven Soderbergh directed movie did well, MacDowell earned several award nominations and parts in films such as Greed Card and Short Cuts.  Other major movies MacDowell has been in include Groundhog Day, Four Weddings and a Funeral, and Multiplicity.
