Bruno is a difficult movie to review.

Why? Because everyone knows what he or she is getting into when they buy a ticket for this Sacha Baron adventure, especially following Borat.

You're gonna see a lot of nudity, hear a lot of cursing and see a man put a lof of strangers into awkward situations. The movie is outrageous, sick and offensive - but downright hilarious.

While Borat shed a bit of light on how America views outsiders, Bruno does the same with homosexuals. Perhaps because gay marriage is a hot button topic these days, the theme in Bruno seems even more important. Sacha Baron Cohen steps directly into a major cultural conversation and does his best to demolish preconceptions in every direction.

The most satisfying aspect of the comedy? How Cohen takes narrow-minded people down a peg or two dozen.

The jokes would be funny enough on their own - though we must warn viewers to shield their eyes at times - but the underlying social message makes this a must-see for anyone that doesn't mind seeing a lot of penis.

The movie is only 82 minutes long, though, so, hey, there really isn't that much penis to deal with. But there's a decent amount. Consider yourself warned.
