Edward Norton on His Version of The Incredible Hulk

Edward Norton stars in The Incredible Hulk, hitting theaters this June.

And the talented actor wants to make one thing clear: this version is nothing like the past film, starring Eric Bana, about the green, angry super hero.

"First off it's utterly unrelated to that film," Norton said in this month's Total Film magazine, as relayed by The Sun. "This is in no way a response to it or picking up from it."

The actor compared his version of The Incredible Hulk to the way Chris Nolan redid the Batman franchise with Batman Begins.

"I think like Chris Nolan and those guys did with Batman, we just said: 'We're going to start completely with our own version of this myth or saga,'" Norton said.

So, will there be multiple an Incredible Hulk 2 or 3?

"To me the whole thing was to envision it in multiple parts We left a lot out on purpose. It's definitely intended as chapter one."

Bond 22 to be Titled Quantum of Solace

Sony Pictures has announced that the official title for the 22nd James Bond installment will be Quantum of Solace.

The film had been going by the working title of "Bond 22" until now. This new name is taken from one of a collection of short stories published by 007 creator Ian Fleming in 1960.

James Bond: Quantum of Solace is set for a November 7 release.

As for the plot of the film:

The new film finds Bond (Daniel Craig) out for revenge on a mission that takes him to Austria, Italy and South America. Bond girl Camille, played by Ukrainian-born Olga Kurylenko, leads the secret agent to Dominic Greene (Mathieu Amalric), member of a mysterious organization and a ruthless businessman, seeking to control huge natural resources.

"James Bond is after revenge, and Camille is after revenge and they have slightly different goals, but in the end they are going to have to collaborate," Kurylenko said.

Sorry, ladies, but some Reel Movie News is strictly for our male readers.

For example, reports are coming in that state Mischa Barton goes naked on more than one occasion in her upcoming movie, Assassination of a High School President. Here's a review of when and how:

(1:02) Mischa Barton removes her dress and stands in her black bra as she begins to make out with Reece Thompson.

(1:11) Mischa Barton is in the bathtub with Reece Thompson washing his hair. We can see her breasts just come up over the side of the bathtub.

A Few Words with No Country for Old Men Cast

With No Country for Old Men as the favorite to win Best Picture at the Academy Awards next month, the film's trio of stars recently talked about the movie with The Associated Press.

s-no-country-for-old-men-large.jpg AP: Though Joel Coen has said this is a film about three men, you're never seen together on screen. In fact, any two of you hardly appear together.

Tommy Lee Jones: Not once.
Josh Brolin: Or once, but without any dialogue.
Tommy Lee Jones: But we're a terrific ensemble, as you can see. (all laugh)

Tommy Lee Jones - a Best Actor nominee for his outstanding work in In the Valley of Elah - then went on to talk about the overall message of the film. It's great stuff:

What I think is the book and the movie, in general, is a contemplation of morality. And the character of Ed Tom feels somewhat overwhelmed by a new character of evil and says so to his wiser and older uncle, and his uncle tells him that that's vanity, that evil doesn't change and that you, Ed Tom, do not live in the center of the universe.

You can't be overwhelmed. It's the same old deal. Then he tells the story about these Indians who ride up to another uncle's house maybe a hundred years ago, kill him on his front porch. And when he recounts the story, if you look at it on the face of it, it seems like a recounting of a scene from a grade-B Western, but somehow you get the feeling that if you were there on that day, you would have seen real evil.

Reel Movie Reviews: Untraceable

reel-reviews-logo44.jpg For many, just knowing that Untraceable stars Diane Lane might be enough to inspire them to purchase a ticket for this movie. That group would probably be made up entirely of males.

Assassination of a High School President Plot Summary, Review

Assassination of a High School recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.

The dark comedy, compared to Rushmore, is centered around Bobby Funke (Reece Thompson), a a rookie reporter for his high school paper, who thinks he's made his career when he takes down the most popular kid, writing an expose on the jock's theft of the SATs.

Assassination of a High School President

Mischa Barton walks the halls in Assassination of a High School President.

After the President's sexy girlfriend (Mischa Barton, actually giving a great performance) and unscrupulous buddies befriend him, Funke begins to smell something unpleasant in the air.

The film's central mystery keeps you guessing intelligently, but brilliantly balances every reference to Nietzsche with a joke about a chocolate swirly. It's very well-written. Bruce Willis is hilariously intense in a cameo, while Barton is better in this part than in any season of The OC.

Cast of Sweeney Todd Speaks on Film

Helena Bonham CarterDuring a recent press conference in Europe, the cast of Sweeney Todd came together to answer a few questions about this Oscar-nominated movie.

Here are a couple replies from stars Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter:

How was it doing your first musical? And will you be doing it again?
Johnny Depp: We're doing the sequel now [laughs]. I actually did do a musical many years ago with John Waters called Cry-Baby, but technically it was only half me - it wasn't me singing. Tim's the only person brave enough to actually let me try to sing.

It was the first time I'd ever sung - I'd never even sung in the shower, I'm too mortified.

But once I got over the initial fear it was kind of enjoyable. Sondheim's melodies and lyrics are a real pleasure to tromp around in, it's really beautiful stuff. Would I ever do it again? No, I doubt it.

Was it easier or harder getting the role when your husband was the director?
Helena Bonham Carter: It was probably harder. I mean he told me: 'You look right for it but we have no idea if you can sing.' So I thought: 'well, I'll try and learn' and did singing lessons, but you know I had to be righter than right.

I wouldn't want people saying I got a role in his film just because I slept with him. At the end of the day Sondheim said I was okay... and I definitely didn't sleep with him!
