In an interview with Social Life magazine, Luts was asked about the New Moon shoot. He said:

New Moon was a very relaxed film to work on and it all starts with how easy going director Chris Wietz is. That vibe rolls down to the crew and actors. It makes it so easy when we've all worked together before. Everything was so well organized, making it easy for the actors to do our job. We had more time to just laugh and make jokes and hang out; it's important to have a cast that gels the way we do and you'll see that more in the second film.

Talk of a Goonies Sequel Heats Up

Rumors of a sequel to Goonies are inching closer and closer to reality.

In an interview Sci-Fi Wire, writer Chris Columbus said that Joe Pantoliano - who portrayed one of the evil Fratellis in the original movie - has been discussing the project with director Richard Donner.

"[Pantaliano] said that Richard Donner talked to him about six months ago about the sequel" Columbus said. "I think the only way it could be done is if the kids are now the parents, and their kids have become the Goonies. I still think the two brothers are still alive and well, so they could still be in the movie. So it's a matter of whether or not they could re-create that concept."

Bill Nighy Lands Role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows

For years, Bill Nighy has joked that he's the only British actor to have never appeared in a Harry Potter movie.

That's about to change, however.

In a recent interview with Great Britain's The Independent, Nighy says he's landed a role in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Rumors around the Internet state that Nighy will play Rufus Scrimgeour, a veteran Auror in the Ministry of Magic. The character spends most of his time fighting Dark Wizards.

The first half of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows is scheduled for release on November 19, 2010; while the second half will open in theaters on July 15, 2011.

Bruno Spoilers: Scenes from the Movie

You've seen the trailer, you've read the Bruno movie quotes.

But we've actually seen a screening of this upcoming comedy and nothing can prepare viewers for the absurdity more than a look at a few scenes from it.

Stop reading now if you wish to watch Bruno, which opens on July 10, with a clean slate. But read on if you want an early look at a few ridiculous examples of the lengths to which Bruno goes on screen:

  • He conducts an interview with Texas Congressman Ron Paul. The supposed subject? Austrian economics. The end result? Bruno corners Paul, ripping off his pants and leading the Congressman to refer to Bruno as “queer” as he rushes out of the room.
  • Within the first 30 seconds of the movie, viewers witness a giant "taint" on screen. (You can look that up yourself if you don't know what it is.)
  • In the closing scene, Bruno mocks the charitable concern "Band Aid," as he invites singers Chris Martin, Sting, Bono, Elton John, Slash and Snoop Dog to take part in the taping of “Doves of Peace."
  • When Bruno visits the Middle East and asks a member of Al Qaeda why Osama bin Laden looks like a “Dirty Wizard” and a “homeless Santa Claus.”  The trip concludes with Bruno being chased down the street by blood-thirsty Hasidic Jews.
