Eclipse: Going Dark!

This will come as no surprise to readers of the book, but the big screen version of Eclipse will be far darker than the first two installments in this franchise.

So says screenwriters Melissa Rosenberg. In an interview with E! News, she he credits the storyline and director David Slade for this tone.

"David has a darker sensibility, so it clicks," Rosenberg said. "The story has a slightly darker tone. I mean, it goes into a full-out battle, so it is darker in the nature of what it is. David was the perfect director for it."

On New Moon Set

Don't worry, fans, Rosenberg added: Eclipse won't be unrecognizable.

"They have the continuity of having the same writers and same actors, but the directors put their own stamp on it. They'll be similar, but very different."

The Invention of Lying Movie Trailer

Starring Jennifer Garner and Ricky Gervais, The Invention of Lying looks hilarious.

It focuses on a man that lives in a world where lying is yet to be invented. Gervais' character discovers this and, of course, takes full advantage of the quirk.

The comedy opens on October 2. Watch its official trailer below:

LeBron James to Star in Fantasy Basketball Camp

LeBron James has proven he can dominate the basketball court.

As for the big screen? Movie fans will soon find out.

The NBA star has signed on to appear as himself in the upcoming comedy Fantasy Basketball Camp. In the film, five average basketball fans attend James' Las Vegas fantasy camp and end up drawing the Cavaliers legend into their personal problems.

LeBron James

"I initially sought LeBron out because my 8-year-old son, Thomas, and I were just dying to meet him, but I felt that beyond being one of the world's great superstar athletes, here was someone so relaxed and comfortable with himself that he would have the capability to be that way onscreen," said producer Brian Grazer. "Later, when I watched him host Saturday Night Live, and saw his advertising work, it was clear he can do this."

LeBron isn't the first basketball player to star in a movie, of course.

Michael Jordan took on cartoon in Space Jam and Shaquille O'Neal has taken on terrible acting in multiple roles.

Jack Huston Dishes on "Nasty" Role in Eclipse

Jack Huston has landed a small, but critical role on Eclipse:

He'll portray Royce King II in the third Twilight Saga film, Rosalie Cullen's fiance, shows on screen in a flashback sequence.

So, is Huston ready for the fame a part in this franchise is likely to deliver? No, but he doesn't expect to be the next Robert Pattinson anyway.

"I don't think I will [face the madness] because of my part," he told E! News. "I'm actually kind of a nasty guy. I'm her fiancé who ends up basically trying to rape her. It's rather horrible."

Don't get Huston wrong, of course. He's thrilled to play any role at all in Eclipse.

"It's a great film to be a part of," the actor said. "This is a small part, but a relevant part in the movie. I think it'll be cool. Hopefully."

Tobey Maguire, of course, will don the Spider-Man outfit once more; while Kirsten Dunst reprises her role as Mary Jane; and Sam Raimi directs.

No word yet on the main villain Spidey will face. Got any suggestions?
