Ice Cube Wants to Pity the Fool in The A-Team Movie

John Singleton and Ice Cube first teamed on the former's directing debut, Boyz N the Hood.

Now, they may make for a fighting duo again in The A-Team movie.

The rapper acknowledged that he has been approached about the role, but doesn't know if he'll land it or not.

"They want me to do it if all the business works out right," Cube said. "I was a fan as a kid and that would be, not a dream come true, but it's definitely a good thing to do and I would put it on my resume for sure."

Javier Bardem, No Country for Old Men are the Critics' Choices

Should everyone behind No Country for Old Men be preparing an Oscar acceptance speech?

The answer is in the affirmative for sure, if this week's Critics' Choice Awards were any kind of precursor to the main event of movies.

No Country for Old Men won Best Movie, the Cohen brothers were named Best Director and Javier Bardem was named Best Supporting Actor.

The latter was overly grateful in his acceptable speech, too:

"I feel like I won the lottery," Bardem said. "All the performers here are truly heartbreaking. I'm just a lucky guy, that is all. [And my costar Josh Brolin] is a great actor and a best friend."

Movie Reviews for The Bucket List

The Bucket List stars a pair of iconic actors: Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson.

But does this mean the film is worth seeing? Let's see what critics around the nation are saying about it...

- A feel good, end-of-life flick that manages to overcome its sobering subject-matter and somehow buoy the spirit. -- Newsblaze

- The Bucket List is a messy free-for-all, but it's a genuine pleasure to watch two hired hands literally running the rodeo. -- The New York Observer

The Bucket List

- While it all cuts together to make one swell trailer, the end product fails to take flight. -- The Hollywood Reporter

- Despite some emotional dips and a see-it-to-believe-it load of schmaltz at the end, The Bucket List is mostly a joy ride with good company, and the actors obviously were having a high time on their traveling boondoggle. -- New York Daily News

Diablo Cody Plans Jennifer's Body

Diablo Cody PhotoIn the wake of Juno's incredible success, everyone can't wait for the follow-up movie from screen writer Diablo Cody. Well, here it is:

The movie is called Jennifer's Body, and will likely mark the first appearance of Megan Fox since her Transformers breakthrough this past summer.

The flick is described as a Heathers-type dark comedy, telling the story of a seemingly-perfect cheerleader whose life is thrown into disarray when she gets possessed by a demon, begins eating boys in her small Minnesota town, then faces off against her best friend and the Satan-worshipping band that made her evil.

Naturally.

"It's a horror movie, and it's also about teenagers," explained Cody. "It's a lot darker [than Juno], and it also has comedic elements. Horror is my favorite genre - and like Juno, I like horror movies."

"I think the interesting thing about adolescence is it's a time when your emotions are totally heightened," Cody said of the subtext she's attempting to capture. "There's so much potential for comedy, tragedy, melodrama, horror, whatever."

Olga Kurylenko Cast in Bond 22

Actress and Ukrainian model Olga Kurylenko is the latest addition to the cast of the Bond 22 (most likely to be renamed 007).

Kurylenko will be joining returning stars Daniel Craig, Judi Dench (M), Jeffrey Wright (Felix Leiter) and Giancarlo Giannini (Mathis) in the movie.

In recent weeks, Mathieu Amalric (The Diving Bell and the Butterfly) and relative newcomer Gemma Arterton has been leaked as the new villain and Bond girl (an MI6 agent), respectively.

Commenting on the casting, series producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement:

"We are fortunate to continue in the Bond tradition of attracting the finest international actors for our starring roles. Mathieu in the role of Dominic Greene, a leading member of the villainous organization introduced in Casino Royale, will be a powerful counterpart to Daniel's portrayal of Bond."

"Olga Kurylenko will play the dangerously alluring Camille," they continued. "Who challenges Bond and helps him come to terms with the emotional consequences of Vesper's betrayal."

Katherine Heigl Dishes on 27 Dresses

27 Dresses PictureFor the record: Katherine Heigl is a recent bride - and wasn't always a bridesmaid.

While the actress portrays a woman who has been the proverbial second banana at a wedding multiple times in the upcoming comedy, 27 Dresses, Heigl just got hitched to singer Josh Kelley over the holidays and...

"I've only been a bridesmaid twice in real life," she told the Chicago Sun-Times of her new role. In the film she plays Jane, the perennial bridesmaid whose sister announces she's getting married. Moreover, she's marrying the man Jane secretly loves (Edward Burns).

Heigl said she knows plenty of Jane types, women who are givers to the extreme.

"I've met and known women like her. They have taken a back seat to what everyone else wants. These women don't really go after their own happiness.

"What I loved about Jane was the progression of her character. She starts out as this doormat. But there are very clear and honest reasons for it. Her mother died when she was a little girl.

"Now her sister is getting married to George. She doesn't go after George because she is his assistant and works for him. It would be unprofessional. At the same time, it's easier to turn your back than proclaim your love for somebody and then be turned down. She has sort of chosen the path of least resistance for herself and ends up hurting."

During one scene in 27 Dresses, Jane is at two weddings in one night.

"What I love about the film is that it's really exaggerated," Heigl said. "I can't imagine anyone ever really doing that because it's close to impossible. There is no way she could have gotten back for both electric slides at both weddings. But it was a really fun idea."

Maggie Gyllenhaal Answers Questions About Rachel Dawes, The Dark Knight

Heath Ledger isn't the only new face of the Batman franchise.

Maggie Gyllenhaal has replaced Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes in The Dark Knight. The actress talked briefly to Metro.co.uk about the role:

Is your Batman character a damsel in distress?
There are moments of that. Chris Nolan, the director, would joke about how I had to resign myself to being a little bit of a damsel in distress but he pushed me in other ways to make her a powerful character. I play a lawyer and have real relationships with the people I'm interacting with in the movie. She's very smart and a real rounded person.

Of course, if you're the girl in Batman, you're going to be a damsel in distress to some extent but she's a really great character. So many people I play are a mess; Rachel's really clear about what's important to her and unwilling to compromise her morals, which made a nice change.
