J.J. Abrams to Produce Mission: Impossible 4

It looks like Mission: Impossible 4 is more than just a rumor.

Not only will Tom Cruise star in the movie, but J.J. Abrams told TV Guide that he'll produce the fourth movie in the action franchise.

"I am incredibly honored that Tom has invited me back as a producer on Mission: Impossible 4," said Abrams, who directed 2006's Mission: Impossible III. "Tom and I have come up with a really cool idea we are pursuing," he added.

The third installment cost about $150 million to make and earned $397.8 million worldwide.

Abrams, of course, directed the latest Star Trek movie and has produced TV shows such as Lost and Fringe.

New Moon Stars Speak on Movie, Scenes

In case you've been living under a rock, New Moon comes out on November 20.

With that in mind, and with millions of fans wondering about the film, MTV asked its stars to comment on the sequel to Twilight.

"There's definitely a difference in scale," Robert Pattinson said, comparing the movies. "I liked doing Twilight, but it felt very much like an indie movie - and [New Moon] definitely feels like it's a big movie."

As for specific scenes, Mike Welch (who plays Mike Newton) spoke to the music network about a major one.

"Kristen [Stewart] and Taylor [Lautner] had to lobby to get this one scene in the film that wasn't originally in - and I am forever indebted to them for that," he said, citing a popular moment from Stephenie Meyer's novel. "There's a scene that's in the book, the three-way date between Jacob and Bella and Mike, where Mike ends up getting sick, and it's just very awkward."

Lautner, meanwhile, said the cast created its own lines during various takes.

"We did a lot of improv on set," Lautner said. "We'd just be in a random forest and, after Jacob transforms [into a wolf], he all of a sudden becomes very agile, and I wanted to show that, because pre-transformation, he's clumsy. But as soon as he transforms, he's agile. So we'd be in a random forest, and I'd be looking around going, 'What can I do to show Jacob's agility in here?'

"Sometimes [director] Chris [Weitz] would be like, 'No, Taylor, we don't want you getting hurt, spraining an ankle.' But I was like, 'Well, how about I just jump off that and then jump through this?' And he was like, 'All right, give it a shot.'"

We can't wait to see how it all looks on screen.

The Hangover stars a guy from The Office and features a cameo by Mike Tyson.

So, how could it not be hilarious?!?

In case you are somehow not convinced, based on the description above, here's a sampling of The Hangover quotes:

Alan Garner: Counting cards isn't illegal. It's frowned upon, like masturbating on an airplane... Maybe since 9/11 when everyone got so damn sensitive. Thanks a lot Bin Laden! | permalink
Alan Garner: It would be so cool if I could breast-feed. | permalink
Phil Wenneck: Would you please put some pants on? I feel weird having to ask you twice. | permalink
Phil Wenneck: [his answering machine message] It's Phil, leave a message. Actually, you know what, don't text me. It's gay. | permalink
Black Doug: I always wondered why they were called roofies. Cause you're more likely to end up on the floor than the roof. They should call em groundies.
Alan Garner: Or rapies | permalink

Tony Stark

"The set pieces have to do with things that aren't your typical bad guy conflict. The relationships are very complex and hilarious," the actor that stars as Tony Stark said. "The motivations Tony has and why he turns around and does things has completely to do with his own internal processes... we're kind of trying to tell a story about how a dysfunctional family saves life on Earth as we know it."
