The movie suffers from a severe technical flaw. The sting of the box jelly (aka "sea wasp" -- Chironex fleckeri) is both a neurotoxin and a cardiotoxin, which would have rendered his heart useless for transplant. I hope this movie doesn't inspire people to try to use this method of suicide. If you want to donate your heart, shoot yourself in the head.

Look, John Ronald.... if you have a problem with this movie because osome medical "technical flaw" you need some serious help.... this movie is very passionate and serious in more than one way than others..... and this is moving to some people who lost loved ones.....i cried a lot because i just lost my grandfather to cancer.Soo.... make sure you think before you say, please.

I completely agree with John Roland. The technical flaw ruined the entire movie for me, and I think for a movie with such a big budget, it's shameful that they overlooked that one humongous detail.
I'm a med student, which could be why it irked me.
