Summary

Shaun Brumber is a local surfer kid from Orange County, California who decides to change his life path after the death of his friend.  After reading the book Straight Jacket, Shaun decides to become a writer and wants to go to Stanford to study under the book's author, Marcus Skinner.  However, after his guidance counselor sends the wrong transcript to Stanford and he gets rejected, Shaun teams up with his brother Lance and girlfriend Ashley to go to Stanford and get in anyway possible.
