Summary

Idiocracy is the story of Joe Bauers, an average Army librarian, and Rita, a prostitute, who are test subjects for the "Human Hibernation Projects." However, when Officer Collins, the leader of the project and one of the few people that knows of its existence, is arrested, the two are left to hibernate until the year 2505. When they awaken, stupid breeding has wiped intelligence off the face of the planet and Joe and Rita are the two smartest people alive.
