Chocolat

Summary

Chocolat is a movie based on the novel by Joanne Harris of the same name. Chocolat is the story of a single mother, Vianne who movies with her six-year-old daughter to the French village of Lansquenet-sous-Tannes. She opens a chocolate store, La Chocolaterie Maya, that dares to be open on Sunday and right across the street from the church. She teachs the small town about acceptance and finds a little love for herself in the process.
