   Saw the movie. Unbelievable pos. Sorry. I am an older guy and just couldn't stand seeing such a portrayal of men. I understand what the movie, I am assuming, based on the novel is trying to depict. But I would not waste my time on such rubbish. The basis of the movie is some 'virus' or epidemic that causes massive blindness. With that , these blind people are quarantined. Ok so far. Then the typical predictable nature of the government turning their back and hiding the problem and leaving these people on their own. Of course, there is the depravity of men and women escalating in such conditions. Ok, I can go along with the premise. However, then it reaches a point that unfortunately makes a pretty ugly point . There is a point where one group of thugs demand that the others turn over their women for food. The japanese guy in there had the only "manhood" but didn't follow through. Typical canine festival portrayal. No self respecting man would hand over their woman. Nor allow them to. But I guess a continued feminization of today's world. Or so these so movie makers would want you to believe. The setting as best I can tell is a european setting.
   The point where the demand is made to send their women has the japanese guy saying no. In fact, this man said we can take them. It was pointed out that he can't shoot all of them. Bravo to him I was thinking. But of course it evolved into the pc correctness of the man who wife can see, makes the ass-nine comment that "one life lost is too many". Sorry joker, there are times when the men are supposed to rise to the occasion. This pitiful portrayal is lame. Im sorry, I do understand that being blind, being forgotten, and being so helpless is a humiliating ordeal. BUT go ahead and give over your women. The very women MEN are supposed to love, to cherish and respect? Sorry, that is a feminist view of making the women strong and sacrificing themselves. Sorry BS BS BS BS.
   Yes that movie upsets me because so many people will believe such crap. As a man, I was offended that that is what I am supposed to believe! Sorry, BS BS BS... Id sacrifice my life for my woman. No man worth his own life would believe otherwise. First thing that came to mind before this pathetic chain of events of these weasel men sacrificing the women was to make a plan. Lets see. On their side, they have a gun. One gun. And they are ALL Blind. On my side we have no gun but someone can SEE- in fact the only one who can see in the whole place ! Gee. Make that an asset in a plan. Overwhelm these bastards by using the advantage of sight and destroy those vermin. Simple thing to have a conceived plan for the blind. After all, they have been in those quarters before this event. Now use it. There are more so called men in the rest of the ward than in just ward #3. And they are all blind. So its not a matter of these so called men being denigrated so much they give in. The whole place, all the men are blind. So why are these men , the thugs, the vermin able to run the joint. And these weasel men can't be men. But apparently, they aren't men, but rather mice. That is a portrayal I disagree with and find revolting. BS movie. PC BS and I vomit at the thought that people will actually think such a movie has a premise. Its insulting to men, and degrading to believe that this is a normal way for men to act. Pathetic. One of the reason we have so many problems in the world, so many wars and the terrorists problems is that people lay back like that one pathetic husband was and said that "one lost is too many" . He would rather do nothing, talk to them, try to get along with them. And then he continued on when his wife said she was going to be these thugs playmates by saying that he cannot speak or make a decision for his wife. When she decided to go, the pos weasal crawled in a corner. Men DEFEND, PROTECT. This film is a typical canine festival film. Typical european portrayal. I only went to it because it was required for my wife's english class. What kind of education are our kids getting these days to actually believe this crap. Not a movie to think about but rather pity because there are some that will actually think this movie has merit. Rather watch cartoons than this piece of "work". Guess you can't tell that my opinion? Come on men, stop listening to the feministic bs, and live your real roles again. I do not mean that woman are inferior or any of that other nonsense pc-ness will claim I said. But Love CHERISH and most of all PROTECT your women, even at the cost of your own life.... Amen
