Summary
The movie is set in northern Australia before World War II. It featurs an English aristocrat who inherits a huge ranch. He reluctantly strikes a deal with a stock-man in order to protect her new property from a takeover plot. As the pair drive 2,000 head of cattle over unforgiving landscape, they experience the bombing of Darwin, Australia, by Japanese forces firsthand.

I think Australia the best movie of the year it should of won an academy I have watched 3 it was magical. Slum Dog Millinaire came out of nowhere and most of us had never seen or it. Really disappointing Oscar Night. Australia gets 5 stars from me.
