Predators

Robert Rodriguez' Predators got another casting boost this week, as Laurence Fishburne has signed on to play a character named Noland.

Fisburne had recently collaborated with director Nimrod Antal on Armored, and had gone on late night television praising the filmmaker. So, it's by no coincidence that Fishburne has signed on to Predators, the sequel/reboot of the classic 80's Schwarzenegger film.

Currently filming in Austin, Texas, Predators also stars Adrien Brody, Topher Grace, Danny Trejo, Walton Goggins and Alice Braga as a disparate group of elite hunters who are kidnapped and taken to the Predator home planet to be prey.

Predators is set to open July 7, 2010.
