The Red Sea is going to part again soon, but this time in... an action movie?
20th Century Fox is digging up the Ten Commandments to bring back the "biblical epic" genre with a retelling of the classic Moses story, Variety reports. This time, though, the Old Testament will meet with new school action aesthetics, as the studio plans to tell the story 300-style.
The script will be written by Adam Cooper and Bill Collage, who recently completed a scripted retelling of Herman Melville's Moby Dick for director Timur Bekmambetov at Universal. Moby Dick was also pitched as a 300-esque actioner.
Congratulations, Zach Snyder! Thanks to you, kids all around the world are going to think everyone in the Old Testament was sexy, ripped and half-naked! Let's not even get started on the plethora of historical inaccuracies that are sure to be introdu- oh, right, it's the Bible.

I think the view of history in the bibe must be taken into consideration before stupid comments like the last one was made.
