Those waiting for the Martin Scorsese-directed Shutter Island will need to wait a few months longer.

The movie's release has been delayed from October 2 to February 19, 2010. An adaptation of Dennis Lehane’s novel, the film stars Leonardo DiCaprio.

Although the flick has tested well, reports state that the financing isn’t available to market the film the way the studio wants to, while there are also questions about DiCaprio’s availability to promote the movie internationally.
