Renee Zellweger Signs on for Third Bridget Jones Movie
It's official: Bridget Jones is penning the longest diary in recorded history.
According to Variety, Renee Zellweger has signed on to reprise her role as a British publishing executive in another installment of the Bridget Jones franchise. The project won't go into production until the end of 2010.
The film - the third in the series - is expected focus on Bridget's attempt to have a baby.
The first two movies were based on books written by Helen Fielding, as the previous feature ended with Bridget happily in love with Colin Firth's Daniel Cleaver.

Daniel Cleaver was the character played by Hugh Grant. Colin Firth's character (whom Bridget ends up engaged to in BJDII) was Mark Darcy. But thanks for playing....
