Rob Zombie's follow-up to his 2007 reboot of the Halloween series is due out in theaters next month on August 28th.  The studio has released the first full length movie trailer for Halloween II and it actually looks pretty solid!

The movie will follow Laurie Strode as she deals with her brother Michael's return.  Watch the trailer and tell me you're not ready to scream just a little again.

Ryan Reynolds Lands Green Lantern

After competing against two other high profile actors, Ryan Reynolds has won the coveted role of the title character in the upcoming Green Lantern movie.

The movie will be based off the popular DC Comic hero, which is no strange territory for Reynolds who has previously starred in Blade Trinity and most recently X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

Things are certainly looking good for Reynolds as his romantic comedy, The Proposal, continues to rake in the money and his role in the X-Men followup has landed him his own spin-off as Deadpool.

A Quartet of Photos from G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra

While the sequel to Transformers broke records, and fans of all ages await the release of the next Harry Potter movie, a potential summer blockbuster has almost gone unnoticed.

But that's likely to change on August 7, when G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra hits theaters and millions of grown men are taken back to their childhoods.

Based on the 1980s cartoon, this G.I. Joe movie focuses on an elite military unit. The big screen version stars Channing Tatum, Dennis Quaid, Sienna Miller and Marlon Wayans. Each of those stars is featured in a photo below.

Moneyball Game Back on for Brad Pitt

To use a baseball term: insiders balked at the fact that Sony Pictures canceled the big screen adaption of Moneyball only days before it was scheduled to start shooting this month.

But it now seems that the Brad Pitt project will get off the ground, after all.

The studio has asked The West Wing creator Aaron Sorkin to pen a quick re-write on a script that Sony had originally deemed too arty and documentary-like in approach, according to The New York Times.

Moneyball is based on Michael Lewis' real-life account of the Oakland Athletics and their general manager Billy Beane, respected throughout the game for assembling a competitive Major League team despite a small payroll.

Pitt will portray Beane.

Trio of Stars Compete for Lead Role in The Green Lantern

While reports link Cameron Diaz with The Green Hornet, news rumors are surfacing about Hollywood's other green project.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, three actors remain for the lead role in The Green Lantern movie adaption. They are:

Bradley Cooper, Ryan Reynolds and Justin Timberlake; meanwhile, Michael Fassbender, Henry Cavill and Jared Leto are still considered long shots for the role.

The film will be directed by Martin Campbell (GoldenEye, Casino Royale). Who do you think would be the best fit for this character?

Jennifer's Body Poster: Megan Fox as School Girl

There's not much to say about the latest Jennifer's Body movie poster, except:

Gulp.

We don't really care that Megan Fox truly puts the naughty in naughty school girl in this upcoming horror movie. If she wants to get possessed by a demon and devour us for lunch, that's totally fine.

As long as she wears this outfit while doing it...

New Jennifer
