Producer Confirms Plans for Wanted Sequel

At Comic-Con last week, producer Timur Bekmambetov touched on rumors of an upcoming sequel to Wanted.

"Yes, I think it's coming," Bekmambetov said. "We're working hard to be ready to shoot in a few months."

The original action movie was released in 2008 and earned more than $134 million at the box office.

Big Bang

When asked about the status of stars James McAvoy and Angelina Jolie, Bekmambetov said: "James McAvoy will be in the movie, and he will try to wake up our Fox."

Nice!

Jolie's character died at the end of the first film, but there are ways around that. When asked where Fox currently resides, Bekmembetov hinted at how she might be revived in a sequel:

"She's in a bath with wax," he said, referring to the healing baths that the characters took in the first film to repair themselves after lots of gun-toting mayhem.

Would you watch a Wanted sequel?

Jason Bateman Sets Time Table for Arrested Development Movie

It's no longer a question of if, but when.

An Arrested Development movie is most definitely in the works, but star Jason Bateman isn't sure when it will start shooting.

"It could be as early as the next six months or as late as 18," Bateman said last week. "[Creator Mitch Hurwitz] hasn’t told me what he has in mind. As fans of the show know, you can look at the very last scene of the last episode, which kind of dovetails into what the film could be."

As Michael Bluth

Tell us more, Michael Bluth:

"Maybe pitches to Ron Howard the idea about making a show about the family. He says, 'No, that wouldn’t work, but maybe a movie'. Read into that what you will," the actor said.

Iron Man 2: Trailer, Photos Revealed

A year before it opens in theaters, Iron Man 2 is already a hit.

At last week's Comic-Con festival, no show or movie received as much attention and hype as this wildly-anticipated sequel.

After discussion various inspirations and storylines for the movie, director Jon Favreau gave fans a look at the first trailer for the movie. It depicted two key scenes:

  1. A haggard and angry Tony Stark ate doughnuts with Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson). The former described how tough it was to do all this world-saving on his own, yet refused Fury's proposal to join a "superhero boy band."
  2. Stark testified before a Senate committee about his possession of a secret super weapon. Sarcastically, Stark demanded the Senate thank him for maintaining "world peace." Garry Shandling, the Senate committee chairman, told Stark to "f--k off!"

Sounds awesome.

Meanwhile, the following trio of images from the film have been released:
