Reel Movie Reviews: Humpday

Opening on the same weekend as Bruno is both logical, and unfortunate, for Humpday.

Both movies challenge the viewers to watch grown men in uncomfortable situations, yet both also aim for a higher message. Naturally, Bruno has received far more publicity. But that's too bad.

As our Humpday movie review details, this is an uproarious, intelligent movie. Read more about it now.

Will Smith to Star in City That Sailed

The world's most popular movie star has found his next project.

Will Smith will re-team with I Am Legend director Francis Lawrence for a high-concept fantasy drama titled City That Sailed.

Peace, Will!

The girl, while exploring a lighthouse, discovers a few magic candles and makes a wish to be reunited with her father. Presto! This wish causes Manhattan to break away from the rest of New York and float across the Atlantic.

Spider-Man 4 Finds New Screenwriter

An Oscar-nominated screenwriter will try his hand at penning Spider-Man 4.

According to Variety, Gary Ross has come aboard to rewrite the screenplay for fourth film in this franchise.

The publication says the deal is the result of his "growing relationship with Sony," as opposed to the fact that he's previously worked with star Tobey Maguire on Seabiscuit and Pleasantville; though we're sure that relationship can't hurt.

Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios hope to start production on Spider-Man 4 before the year is through.

First Look: Ellen Page in Whip It

In Whip It, Ellen Page stars as a rebellious teenager that signs up to play roller derby brutal. Along the way, she discovers friendship and freedom... among numerous bruises and falls.

The film marks the directorial debut of Drew Barrymore, who told USA Today that she quickly learned how one must call upon a lifetime of experiences when behind the camera.

"Everything I've learned throughout my whole life has been going into this piggy bank, and I just smashed it all over the floor for this one," Barrymore told the newspaper.

Whip It Scene

The story of a young girl pushed in many different directions, Whip It also stars Jimmy Fallon, Kristen Wiig, Juliette Lewis and Zoe Bell.

Barrymore said the tale partly reflects her own, as she was a famous child star that struggled with the transition to adulthood.

"I felt pressures that everybody feels, whether it's inter-office, in high school or a small town. Everyone relates to expectations others have or what the world thinks. Who am I going to become? What am I going to be in this world?"

Michael Moore to Release Capitalism: A Love Story

The least well-kept secret in Hollywood is that Michael Moore has been working on a documentary about the financial market.

We can now report that the name of this project is Capitalism: A Love Story, as the controversial filmmaker says it addresses the causes of the global economic meltdown.

"It will be the perfect date movie," Moore said this week. "It's got it all - lust, passion, romance and 14,000 jobs being eliminated every day. It's a forbidden love, one that dare not speak its name. Heck, let's just say it: It's capitalism."

Moore has made three of the top six highest-grossing documentaries: Fahrenheit 9/11, Sicko and Bowling for Columbine.

Megan Fox: Bloody, Beautiful in Jennifer's Body

Yes, Megan Fox goes topless in Jennifer's Body.

We don't wish to downplay that clearly incredible fact.

But we've seen the actress pose seductively before; those images can be found in any number of magazines of blogs.

Conversely, how often is Fox captured on film following a healthy meal of young high school boys?!? That appears to be the case in this bloody photo of the star from Jennifer's Body:
