So far, reviews for G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra have been less than stellar.
Still, those behind the movie appear confident about its success: a sequel is already in the works.
At a press conference in Australia director Stephen Sommers and the cast were asked if they were locked in for a sequel.
Sommers replied with enthusiasm: "Yes they are," as the actors next to him nodded their heads, and the director concluded the response with: "Next summer!"
Sounds like that's when shooting will begin. Sommers better hope the original, which hits theaters on August 7, is a success.

Bring on the sequel - though a tad slower pace would be better - kind of like the classic Guns of Navarone would do just fine.
As for new Joes how about
Clutch - Dane Cook
Airborne - Adam Beach
Flint or Falcon - Joe Flanigan
Spirit Iron Knife - Wes Studi
Wild Bill - Thomas Haden Church

Phenomenal movie. I just watched it for the 20th time probably. Hahah. I love it that much, I have my critiques about it but why kill something so awesome. I have just begun my training in martial arts recently and would love to be in the sequel if you're wanting to help a young actor out. ;) Hahaha.
All in all... I can't wait for the sequel, but I'd rather be in it.
